It has been a tradition since the inception of the garden to provide a place to commemorate friends and family members through the gift of a tree, shrub, or brick donated to the Hart County Botanical Garden.
The first recipient was our initial patron, Anne King. She was responsible for the vision of a botanical garden in Hart County. She has been memorialized with a very lovely, serene shade garden named appropriately, The Anne King Garden.

Commemorative Opportunities
Commemorative trees are available for a $100 donation.
"Adopt me" signs throughout the Garden indicate trees that are available for commemorations.
Bricks are also a wonderful way to honor special people and may be added to the
Commemorative Path for $50.
Some have chosen to use purchased benches with plaques as yet another way of remembering someone.
Contact the Garden if interested in a commemoration.
