October is the perfect time for planting trees!

he 20 Shearouse Seedlings offered below are one of a kind trees each hand selected for this sale with the help of nursery owner, John Shearouse. In July, these were dug and prepared for a 7 gallon container system according to standards issued by the International Society of Arborculture. The average age of these trees is 5 years so they are well on their way, Because they were meticulously grown within approximately 22 miles of our Botanical Garden, they have the greatest probability of a long and successful life on your properties.

All 20 trees have common features. They will grow to between 10’ and 15’ hi and wide, the leaves are varying degrees of palmate with differences in size and color. Summer color for approximately half is red/burgundy/bronzed and the other half shades of green. Seventeen of these trees will provide an extremely vibrant fall show in shades of purples, oranges and reds, three trees will dress out in stunning yellow.

Grow them in part shade to full sun noting that, if grown in full sun, they will require a more consistent source of water as they establish. Each tree will come with detailed planting and care instructions.
